DON'T' GIVE UP, LOOK UP!

We have our troubles in life to face,
They seem to be in most every place.
We worry so much and sometimes fret,
But worry hasn't solved any problems yet.
We feel alone and forsaken at times,
When clouds of doubt have darkened our mind.
When opening our hearts to God's precious Word,
The sweetest of music can be heard.
His Word will remove our doubts and fears,
And dispel all our troubles and cares.
God gives us grace and peace with His love,
And supplies all our need from His Storehouse above.
We must trust the Savior for His amazing grace,
To solve our problems in any place.
We should praise the Lord Jesus for His wonderful love,
For His coming to earth from Heaven above.
For His going to Calvary, taking our place,
So that all might be saved by His wonderful grace.

What A Blessing!

Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me,
Bless His Holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul,
and forget not all His benefits:
Psalms 103:1

Oh! What a blessing it is to see
The love and compassion God has shown to me.
I’ve plenty to eat and clothes to wear
And able with others these blessings to share.
When I think of others who are in need,
I think of so many people obsessed with greed.
When multitudes could be fed,
They go neglected and hungry instead.
May God’s love in my heart always be,
Demonstrated by giving, as He has given to me.
Most of all, His love we should share,
By letting people know that we really do care.
We should tell the story of God’s love for all,
And try to persuade them to heed HIS call,
The call to repentance and salvation from sin,
To trust in Jesus, and be born-again.
