God's Diamond In The Rough

Although a diamond in the rough; I'm a diamond sure enough;
I'm dull at times I realize; For which I must apologize.
He chips and grinds and sands on me; Until there's a sparkle for all to see.
He shapes me up and polishes away; To make me shine for Him each day.
Of course! His chastening hurts; The amazing thing it always works.
And when we yield to His loving correction; We will have a sense of His direction.
Without this chastening we would never be: A light to shine for the world to see.
When He corrects, we should never fret; For He's not finished with us yet.
With faith and patience, let's run this race; Trusting Him always, and His Amazing Grace.
Upon the Lord we should patiently wait; For He is the Author and Finisher of our faith.

Witness For Christ

Lord, You know I'm frail; Help me not to fail,
To honor You: In All that I do.
Help me to see; All that I should ever be.
And draw me closer in fellowship with Thee.
For the fields are white; And the harvest is ripe.
The laborers are few; And there is so much to do.
Help us to arise and go; The Precious Seed to sow,
That we may come again; With Precious souls we have led to Him!

Let's not give up, let's keep looking up!!!
