"In the beginning God created the heaven
and the earth." (Gen. 1:1).
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word
was God.
The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him;
and without Him
was not anything made that was made." (John 1:1-3).
God made the sun to rule by day; The moon and stars to rule by night,
Therefore for His greatness, we should praise Him with All our might.
Man though isn't satisfied with the earth on which he has trod;
And is trying very hard to reach the things known only to God.
Man will some day reach his limit, worldly wisdom will forever cease;
The Rapture first--The Tribulation begins-- after which cometh the
Prince of Peace!
Christ therefore is the Only Hope for this wicked and troubled place
Salvation is only by God's Amazing, Marvelous, and Matchless grace.
"For by grace are ye saved through
faith; and that not of yourselves: It is the gift of God.
Not of works, lest any man should boast."
(Ephesians 2:8-9).
"Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all
that is within me, bless His holy name. Bless the Lord,
O my soul, and forget not all His benefits:--Psalms 103:1.
Oh! What a blessing it is to see: The
love and compassion God has shown to me.
I've plenty to eat and clothes to wear: And able with others these
blessings to share.
When I think of others who are in need; I think of hearts so obsessed
with greed.
When so many people could be fed; They go neglected and hungry
instead.
May God's love in my heart always be; Demonstrated by giving, as He
has given to me.
But most of all, His Word we should share; By letting people know that
we really do care.
We should tell the story of God's love for all; And try to persuade
them to heed His call.
The call to repentance and salvation from sin; To trust in Jesus and
be born again.
