The Importance of the Blood of Jesus Christ
The Church was purchased with the precious blood of
Christ
The Church consists of all true born again believers in Christ
"Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over
the which the Holy Ghost hat made you overseers, to feed the
Church of God, which He hath purchased with His own blood."
(Acts 20:28).
We are justified by His Blood
"Much more then, being justified by
His Blood, we shall be
saved from wrath through Him." (Romans 5:9).
"Being justified freely by his grace
through the redemption
that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a
propitiation through faith in His Blood, to declare His
righteousness for the remission of sins that are past,
through the forbearance of God." (Romans 3:24-25).
We Have Redemption Through His blood
Ephesians 1:7. In whom we have redemption through His blood,
the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.
Colossians 1:12-14. Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath
made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in
light: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath
translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son: In whom we have
redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins;
We Have Peace Through The Blood of His Cross
Colossians 1:20. And, having made peace through the blood of His
cross, by Him to reconcile all things unto Himself; by Him, I say,
whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.
He Washed Us From Our Sins In His Own Blood
Revelation 1:5b ".......Unto Him that loved us, and washed us from
our sins in His own blood."
Verse 6. And hath made us kings and priests unto God and His
Father; to Him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
Christ Obtained Eternal Redemption For Us Through His blood
Hebrews 9:12. Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by
His own blood He entered in once into the holy place, having
obtained eternal redemption for us.
Verse 24. For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with
hands which are the figures of the true; but into Heaven itself,
now to appear in the presence of God for us:
Under the law, the high priest would enter into the holy of holies
once a year to atone for his sins and the sins of all Israel. He carried
blood from the brazen altar and sprinkled it before the ark of the
covenant and upon the mercy seat. God would meet Him there
above the ark of the covenant between the wings of the cherubims.
He went not without blood, which was symbolic of the blood of
Christ that was shed for the remission of sins.
Christ, the Great High Priest, now the only High Priest, after His
bodily resurrection entered into Heaven, not with the blood of
calves and goats, etc., but with His own blood, atoning for sin
forever. To Him be all the glory for ever and ever!!! Thanks be to
God for so Great Salvation. If you aren't saved, trust in Him now.
